Hello everyone.
Bio: I am a Wounded Warrior from the US. Army. I was a combat engineer, so I no nothing about mechanics.
Problem: I have a 2005 Ford Sport Trac. I am hearing water/fluid sloshing around in my dash and the heater is no longer working. with that being said, do I need to replace the heater core, look for another issue?

Check the heater control valve. It might be partially open, and is only allowing a small amount of coolant into the heater core instead of allowing it be full of coolant.
