Jim from Chicago, Illinois. My 2007 5.7 Chrysler 300 was showing its age along with frame/body rust.
I asked my son from Streetcar Shenanigans Performance what I should get. "Explorer ST", he said.
Got myself familiar with it and started looking for a used one with low miles. April 2023 found a used dark blue 2022 at a BMW dealer in N.E. Ohio with 11.5K miles. Drove over, purchased it and haven't looked back. I have 32K on it, you can see I'm enjoying it. Took it to the track, did 13.97 @ 99.7 mph, not bad for a stock ST. My son's shop has done a few upgrades to some other ST's and thinks I should too, including lowering it. LOL. Gonna wait for the warranties to expire before doing stuff like that. The daughter has decided the ST is more fun than mom's Nautilus. LOL!
The "wet floor issue" bit me earlier this year and the other day. Hopefully cleaning out that wheel well drain bladder does the trick.
