Hello all....I'm pikespeakmtnman from Colorado Springs, CO.

This seems like a knowledgeable group of folks and hopefully you're as nice with the newbs as my motorcycle forum is (at least as far as wrenching and mods).

My g/f is the Explorer owner and I drive the arch-enemy of Fords (GMC).

All my questions (and there will be lots, bear with me!) will be in reference to a 1991 EB edition that was not treated well before my g/f bought it....and I'm no mechanic.

welcome to the forum! im pretty much an EXPLORER NOOB myself, but everyone on here has been super friendly and helpful with all of my questions. best forum i belong to hands down. and although im a ford guy, im not a fanboy, so i dont care what kind of rig anyone has, if it serves a function be it style, speed, off road, fuel economy, whatever, ill dig it! i also own a subaru, an isuzu, a mini cooper S and just sold my ford focus, so im all over the place.
