I'm a new member here, but not new to Fords. I've had six foxbody mustangs, 5 of them with 5.0's and the one I have now with a 2.3, soon to be 2.3t. I owned a 94 ford ranger for 2 years before my family started expanding. Sold the ranger and made the biggest mistake of my life, bought a 93 4runner! It's been nothing but JUNK! It's getting both head gaskets replaced now and as soon as I get it back it's going up for sale. Thats what brings me here! I'm going to purchase a 95-2001 explorer as my daily driver/weekend warrior/ hunting vehicle. I'll be doing alot of searching to find out which I'd rather have a 4.0 4x4 4-door or a 5.0 4x4 4-door. The only thing I don't like about the 5.0's is that all of them I've seen have been AWD not 4wd. Thanks for having me, I love this forum already!
