hello after help with my 99 4.0 v6 explorer. im body swapping it on to a 59 frod f100 swb truck. i would like to remove or bypass the pats system to prevent any problems in the future, can anyone advice the prcedure, thanks

You can't bypass pats
you need a tune or a older pcm to get around it

ok thanks for the reply, what kind of software would be able to do the tune, being from the uk i would be very suprised if the local ford dealer would still have the software or do you think any ecu testing company could sort this

You will need a hand held flash device
Then A professional tuner to turn off pats

You could order a pcm off the net with pats off

You could send in yours to be modified
