Hi guys, I'm an older gearhead looking for info on what I can do to my 98 Explorer XLT AWD. It will be a daily driver but I won't leave it stock and I'll be looking for SAS and rear axle flip threads for starters.
I also want to do a BW4406 swap and will be getting the parts for that as soon as the weather warms up.
I kept finding this site when I googled Explorer info so I decided to join since it seems like my kind of site.
My current drivers are a built up 94 Mustang GT and a 79 Bronco Ranger XLT with a very healthy built up 460 that I have had since the 1990s, this is what the Explorer will be replacing and the front end will be going under the sploder at some point.
Thanks for the wealth of great info and also for putting up with my soon to be threads as I try to learn about these ''newer'' 4x4s.
