I have been reading about all the mods people have been making to
their Explorers... I am ready... I see lots of talk about if you can do a body lift on a 3rd gen. What is the answer? Anyone near Maryland?

Yep you can do a body lift on a 3rd gen. The part # is PA 883 (it's for a ford ranger but that kit fit's our truck's.) Sorry mate I'm nowhere near MD

i am from the glen burine/Pasadena area of Maryland but right now we are living in hagerstown due to my 5 year old son and my 2 year old daughter are deaf and they are going to the Maryland School FOr The Deaf! try hitting me up one weekend maybe we can get together and go muddin!!

Ok i am new on here
i have a 97 explorer sport 2x4 with a 4.0 vin e i am trying to find out what years of 4.0 vin e
will interchange is it from 97-03
and why does it matter if it is a 2 door or four door
or if it is a 2x4 or 4x4 all the blocks are the same are they not?
i understand you have to change out valve covers,coil pack,brakets,intake
and what ever else is different could someone please help!!!

Welcome to this forum! You could swap the engine just as long as it's the same type. Sensors & wiring harnesses are swappable too.
