Hello everyone! my name is Jeff. I dont own an explorer as of right now but i have been looking in to buying one, i definitely love the way the first gen explorers look. my mom had a 1993 or so when i was a kid me and my step brothers would take it 4 wheeling i had a blast. now that im much older i currently own a 1988 f250 with a 5.8l v8. lately ive been looking for a first gens with a 5.0 and i just dont think they ever made them.. it is a must for me to have the v8 and 4 wheel drive im beginning to think the first gen explorers never come with a v8, im sure there are threads on here to a swap if anyone could point me to one of them. so many badass youtube vids of these lifted explorers im thinking about buying one with a blown engine and swapping in a 5.8 myself. im fairly mechanically inclined as ive done so much to my current f-250 :exp:
