Hi all, I just purchased a 2004 Explorer, 2WD, 4.0 V6. I noticed that the transmission shifts funny, when upshifting it is like a clutch is being depressed, also on take off it seems to hesitate then go. I read some of the posts and see that a computer re-flash solves the problem on 2002 models, will it also improve the 2004 models? My local dealer will flash it for $116 but cannot tell me if it will be beneficial or not. Thanks in advance.
