I have just recently went from a 2001 Expedition to a 2004 Explorer Both Eddie Bauer... My Expedition had one thing that my Explorer doesnt have that me and my wife really miss and that is the reverse backup sensors. I do know that Ford offered this as an option on the explorer. So my question to everyone is is it possible to add the FACTORY sensors to mine? I know it should require 3 things that I can see; 1 is the sensor strip that has the actual sensor in it, 2 is a new bumper that will accomodate that strip, and then 3 (which I am worried would be the hardest) is the on-off switch that is located next to the headlight switch, and the wiring. So has anyone done this or know for sure that it can be done? Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
