Hi Everyone, Just wanted to say Hi. I just bought my first Explorer. It's a 98 xlt V8 AWD with 129,000 miles. It is a nice kind of Tan/Gold outside and Tan inside. It is straight and clean with no rips or wear inside or out. I have been a mechanic my whole life, sometimes for a living as well. I took care of a University fleet for a number of years and managed a fleet of 500 econolines after that. Now I am an IT Manager for a manufacturing company. I have had Fords my whole life.The first motor I rebuilt was my 302's little brother, the 289. I will be posting questions in the other areas when I have questions. Thanks for a grat forum.
