Hi to you all.
Just bought a 1993 Explorer and the 4x4 was not working.
Went on this site and found a thread 4x4 Shift Motor Rebuild.
Took it all apart and yep the plastic stop button was broke,cut a bit of hard rubber gas pipe to fit,reinstalled and it works perfect,plus the ABS now works .
A very big thankyou to Brian who wrote the thread,saved us a fortune and a lot of time.
Were up in Colorado and the snow is falling fast,so a working 4x4 is fantastic.
