Hey, I'm new to the forum and have very little car knowledge (which is why I decided to join). For example, I just changed my own oil for the first time yesterday and that's probably the most complex car work I've done. I'd like to learn how to do most of the maintenance on my '98 2WD 3.0 L V6 Ranger myself to save the labor costs (for example, my brake lights weren't working and it involved changing the switch - $86 for labor, $23 for the part) and because its actually fun learning about and being able to do the work myself.
