- 1996 Ford Explorer XLT V8
Hello everyone,
My name is Sergio I have a 1996 Ford Explorer (V8 XLT). Its been a lot more reliable than my 94 accord (and and babied that car). Been loving the truck. Got it for $1,500 bux with 130k.
Since then I have had the transmission rebuilt, changed spark plugs, replaced lower ball joints (upper control arm too), brake pads and rotors all the way around, new tires, all 4 O2 sensors new.
In addition I have a nice stereo system. Two Lightning Audio amp (250watts RMS) with 3 way Infinity reference speakers in the front doors, 2 way infinity reference speakers in the rear doors, and 4 infinity kappa tweeters on the A and B pillar. To top it off I have a 1 farad Rockford Fosgate capacitor.
Glad to join the forum!
