just wanted to introduce myself. i just got a 2001 explorer sport. and ive got some questions about it. i hope somebody here can help me

well. my explorer has the (what i just found out is very common) 2-3 slip, and i was just wanting to know how big of a deal it is if i left it... or if i should replace the valve body gaskets and the epc solenoid as soon as i can. i know this isnt the right section for this. if i need to move it there i will

You could do those things along with adding Sonnax end plugs with O rings, and a boost valve with O rings. The TransTec Viton D ring kit for the low/reverse servo, and new acccumulator servo pistons should help.

its a 4x4. ive had it 2 days now and im ready to get rid of it,, i traded my K5 for it so i could give my mom something nice to drive with relatively low miles. but this transmission thing is bugging me. big time..

im not sure, it depends on how much ill have to put into it.. i really dont know about fords and their electronic transmissions.. i actually like the truck. alot! and the factory pioneer stereo amazed me. the handling is amazing, and the air conditioner will freeze you out.. i guess im just needing some help knowing what to do with the trans

ur lucky u got the 6 disc cd changer i just got the single cd

thats the best factory stereo setup ive seen. very convenient, dont haveta open the trunk or the console to load discs. and it sounds so good
