I have been modding my X these past couple of weeks and finally I have some decent pics to show.

First just let me say that the newly Painted bumpers and parts were done by a guy in Santa Monica, CA by the name of Steve Tolentino. Great guy and awsome painter, I highly recommend him to everyone. He's a member at Ford Truck World as Stevet and the Pres. of the Cali Charter over at SUVworld. You can see more of his work in his galleries there.

WOW!!! thats a sweet looking ex. congrats on your trophy.

Looking great!! Did you build the grill insert yourself or what? Thats a darn good first attempt for the throphy..

Wow, that looks great! I like.

Nice and clean. SWEEET! I never thought red color would look so good on an Explorer. Wow!

Very Very nice, 400 times better with everything painted.

sweet! what did u use to pain the underside and all black?

Dayeem... Normally i give streeters (read: X~Factor) crap, but that thang is CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!

You 2WD? I bet a lowered V8 2WD X can be quite a beast with the right mods!

One of, if not the best looking street X's around. That is absolutely awesome looking, congratulations man.

Sheesh that looks damn good! Nice work. I'm probably gonna copy that speed grill. ;)

Can you tell us how you attached it and what grill you started with?

that red color is sick. it's like a laser red or something...i love it ;)

Hey thanks everyone for the compliments. I am very happy of how the paint job turned out:)

explorerchic - I cleaned under there really good with a wire brush and hosed it down. Then I just used semi-gloss black spray paint.

Hokie - It's 2wd.

Garth,Hartman - I bought an F150 speed grille an cut it to size then made some brackets to hold in place. It's not the best job but it works. These pics will give you an idea of what you can do.

I used scissors to cut the speed grille

looks awesome. i like all of it except the handle on the rear glass. i think it would look better black, but that's just me. other than that, it looks killer. now i just need to get started on my speedgrill.

As i said on FXN - looks awesome!!!
hehe the pic of the brakes is kinda funny..
Look at the huge wheel well, then look at the nice slotted rotor.. then take a look at that pewny caliper :-( it looks soo sad. hehehe
btw, nice detail work on the wheel wells and brakes, and everything else thats visible there (leaf packs etc)

AnabolicFrolic, you're too damn hard to please. :p If Tas98xlt is 2nd, I wanna see what the 1st place look like. :)
