New setup advice

Hey guys i need some advice on my new setup, i just got infinity 1262w's( DVC, 1200watt peak, 300watt rms, 2ohm or 8ohm) two of them and two crunch amps, one 1100watt(# 2 Channel,1100 Watts x 1 ch @ 4 Ohms, 550 watts x 2 ch @ 2 Ohms, 225 watts x 2 ch @ 4 ohms) and one 1000watt (2 x 250 W at 4 Ohms, 2 x 500 W at 2 Ohms, 1 x 1000 W at 4 Ohms Maxx Power). as of right now i have each sub wired to one amp just positive to positive negative to negative on each side. they dont sound as good as i was hoping. ive read you can wire them to 2ohms or 8ohms, will that make them sound better? and if so how do i do that? any help would be greatly appreciated. This website always helped me out! Just make sure you do it all correctly and thats about all you can do. You also might try adjusting the crossover on your amp to match the head-unit.
