No, as long as you originally mount them so the knob is accessible. You can also get an in-cab adjustment panel for them, but it's easy enough to reach under and turn the knob.
The shop parts and performance in Van Wert, OH got me a good deal on Rancho 5000's. 35 Each. I'm going to install them today or tommorrow. They should be a big improvement over my "air" shocks (they're all empty, no fluid)
