Hi Guy's

I have just replaced my standard shocks with Rancho RS5000's, but was wondering if I should also replace the small short one with is attached to the rear axle and car body ? and is this little bugger really necssary ?

Nope. The advise from around here is leave it alone or just take it off. I heard to replace it would cost you about $85 at the dealer. I would just leave it.

X~FACTOR

Thanks for the reply, I think I will just leave it where it is for the time being.
As to the Rancho's, they really made a big difference to the way the old girls handles :)

I took that little shock off and I didn't notice any difference.

That fifth shock( the one between the axle and frame) is actually a dampner and not a shock. I took if off years ago and never bothered with it again. It limits your articulation on the rear end conciderably.
