New Sport Trac owner

I just purchased an '07 SportTrac Xlt 4.0 liter V6 with 53,000 miles on it. So far I like this truck. Two things I'm wondering about, first the truck will idle ruff when i first start it then after a few seconds it will run just fine. The second is the 2 front windows whistle when rolled up but if i roll them down just a little they don't whistle as loud but still whistle.

There is a thing on the intake manifold called the Idle Air Control valve (IAC) that can get dirty. Cleaning it is not hard. There is a project at www.mysporttrac.com on how to do it.
Don't know what to tell you about the windows.

Check the condition of the surround on the windshield, maybe post a pic. They may have replaced the windshield and not used a factory seal, so the edges may be flared, or the seal a different shape. When you open the windows, the shape of the airflow changes, stopping the whistling. My buddy had that same issue, they swapped the seal, and it cured the problem. Might check that out...
