Hey guys!
Not looking to go deaf or spend a ton of money, I went out and bought a Fosgate Punch 45 and a Kenwood 746c Amp to go along with my Kenwood head unit and cd changer. For speakers I will be using Pioneer 5x7's in the doors and a cheapie 10" sub from Rat Shack (I think it actually is a Pioneer sub) that was on sale for $35 from $70. My thoughts are to use the Punch to run the from speakers and the Kenwood to run the rears and the sub (the Kenwood is 4/3/2 channel bridgeable). Does this make sense? Also - what sort of enclosure should I use for the sub? I will be building it and can go with acoustic suspension, tuned port, or a combination of the two (I forget the term). Which enclosure will give the best sound for rock-style music? Not big into thumping or going deaf - just looking for good, clean, semi-ear-splitting sound
