new tires

i have an 05 explorer... my stock tire size is 235 70 16 and i want to know what is the max tire size i can thro on my rig. does anybody have any tire names of some big bulky tires that i can fit on my explorer at stock height???? please let me kno.

max is 265/70/16 thats like the number one topic for our trucks on here lol. you will find alot of stuff.

I have 255/70 r16s on mine they fill up the fenders really good and have never scrubbed. Mine is at the shop right now getting a new set put on. I was well over due the old one were getting to ride really rough and slick.

soo your telling me that 265 75 16 wouldn't fit??

265/75/16 fits just fine. I did it. Twice. Someone on here has done 285/15/16's with wheel spacers.

At what psi did you inflate your tires? and where did you find the info for psi rating

PSI rating differs for each tire... it should say on the tire..
