New to Explorer forums with a question

i am new to this forum, but i have owned an explorer for a couple of years. my truck is an 97 XLT control trac 4wd. it is in great running order, and has only 70,000 miles. what was wondering is, how is the reliability on this model and year. i have never owned a ford before, so i am new to american cars, usually i drive JP sedans, or sport.. i have a couple of pics of my explorer on my "supra car domain" site. i think its on page 3. check it out...

the weak point with your truck is the tranny, take care of it and it will take care of you. also if you have the SOCH engine you may be in for some trouble, but if you have the OHV you will be fine.
