I have a 1993 Explorer XL and I have installed a brake controller and overload springs. I don't know much about the Explorer's towing ability. I have a "Reese type" receiver hitch which I believe was stock. I want to haul a 17' hybrid travel trailer if that is possible. Any help or advice will be appreciated.
