New to forum and need help

I purchased 1999 explorer xlt for $180.00. The engine didn't not run due to timing set on right side rear of engine came apart. So I came across a 5.0 and bought it for $400.00, used but in good running condition. I figured the computer and wiring harness to the engine has to be replaced. Can any one trek Mr from what vehicle should i try to get the harNess and computer out of or which ones should at least work.
