Purchased a 2019 Explorer XLT, w/ Sport Pkg and 3.5L V6, back in November. 52,000 miles and in good condition. There are some things we'd like to do to upgrade the Explorer and I'm looking at suspension and brake options to get me going within the next year. I have access to a mechanic who has done work for me before, so I get really good labor rates and quality work performed.
I'm thinking suspension will get done sooner than later, so I'm here to research my options. I'm new to aftermarket options/upgrades, so I'm trying to learn and make the best decisions. I've dug around online and it seems my options to upgrade front/rear suspension are kind of limited. I will be doing some light towing with this vehicle, so I don't want to screw anything up. If anyone wants to chime in here, feel free. I'll do a search of the forum as well.
Look forward to learning about Explorers. We really like the space of this vehicle for our family and all the upgraded options we have now vs our 2015 Kia Optima SX we sold.
