i looked at an 01 v8. unable to meet on price. turns out i have someone i used to work with with an 00 v8 with ~120k on it, 2wd. CEL is on, i dont know the code as of yet, gonna go get it scanned later this week. IIRC it was something dealing with the evap system. are there common issues with this year of explorer. i remember people saying the v8 2wd being a good powertrain for an 01 model, is the 00 model essentially the same? im going to go look at the truck and get pics thursday afternoon. thanks in advance!
