So I am here because like many other explorer owners you to have a Check Engine Light on and have no idea what is going on or needs to be fixed. So if you can help with this great if you can help with another issue thats great to.

So my concern is the CEL (Check engine light), I have the codes but need your help as I am not a Mechanic. Here they are: P0442 EVAP small leak/no flow condition. P0172 Fuel trim bank one condition. P0171 Fuel trim bank one condition. So know you know the same thing I do the codes. But here comes the tricky part you know what they mean and how to fix them I do not. That is were you come in to play. Please inform me of the procedures in fixing this issue. Thank you for your help.

Welcome, not to sure how to fix what the codes are saying :( Have you tried clearing the codes and driving to see if the light comes back on?

Welcome to this forum! Check for a vacuum leak from the intake manifold gaskets or from a broken vacuum line. Sometimes bad spark plugs could cause a lean mixture if the fuel isn't completely burned.

welcome

Yes I did and they still are coming back in a few minutes to an hour.
