New to this forum. Help appreciated on wiring.

Hello everyone, I am new here. Just purchased my first ranger. Looking for info on hooking up a female end of a 7 point wiring harness for trailer brakes. Would my truck have factory wires all ready to go, and a plug just needing to be installed? (I heard some rangers had this?) Also, I would look myself, but I am picking it up in a week and was hoping to purchase parts ahead of time. It is a 2006 Ford ranger 4x4, 4.0L V6. Thanks for all the help. I can see myself becoming a full time user on here.
