Ground force springs are the most common used on 3rd gen explorers. They say they give a 1.6" drop all around, but by the time the springs settle your looking at close to a 2" drop total. What size tire you running? I believe if you don't run with anything bigger than a 265/40 tire you shouldn't have any rubbing issues. But I would take measurements first. Hope this helps

I'm putting my GF springs on my 04 X with 22's this week (I hope)...

What size tire you running with? Also meant to say in my first post that when you lower it you have to get the camber adjusters and get it aligned. The ground force kit comes with adjusters that look like washers, they work just fine but they are not adjustable. I've look into several types of springs, but in the end I'm going with the ground force kit and am just gonna use the washers they give you to adjust the camber.

Yeah im running with falken ziex s/tz 265/40R22 and what do you think bout the belltech kit i think they lower it 2" to 2.5" do you think it'll rub if i use those

naw the BT kit shouldnt rub but you WILL have serious camber issues with that kit, ive been looking for a camber kit for a 2.5'' drop and i cant find anything......i would just go with the GF springs.......

its not worthless without pics...

anyways... My GF kits didnt come with any type of washers for camber adjustments... Do you think I'll need to buy the 1 degree adjustable ones, or should the things with the kit work?

I'll have to contact Groundforce to get the parts im missing.

My GF kit was springs only. I will get the camber adjusters so when I install them I won't have any trouble getting it aligned.

well i don't know what you guys will think about my wheels but ill post some pics also do you guys think my exhaust is in the way to get the sway bar from explorer express (dead links)

Correct, the explorer express sway bar wont work with your exhaust.

I ment to add: The Belltech sway bars should fit. I'm not sure how good they are (anyone???)...

I know when you order the ground force springs from Explorer Express, it comes with the camber adjusters. Not sure if you get them from any one else. But I believe the Ford dealer can get you the same thing Explorer Express gives you. Might be a headache though. You can get the adjustable ones from prosuspension.com. Or you can get them through their Ebay site:

Thanks...

Actually, I just ordered the Ingalls ones:

Hopefully they'll be here this week and I can get the springs and everything done next week....

No problem.....those will work just fine. Post some pics of your ride once you get it lowered!
