I am looking for new wheels/rims whatever you wish to call them, I am wondering if I can go from a 15" rim to a 17" with out having to jack the car up at all. Then I was hoping to get Fortera tries from goodyear. Does anyone know of any good rim brands, nothing to flashy but much better then the stock ones.

I take it you are looking to put 17s on for cosmetic reasons. Why not stay wiith the 15s and not lose the accelerating and braking performance by going with a larger diameter rim? I have Fortera Triple Treads in the stock size, 235/75x15, but I'm not sure if the size you need is available in a plus two (17") size.
I have stock sized Fortera Triple Treads and have extolled the virtues of these tires on the road. I love 'em.

I rather go with the 15" I just can not seem to locate any wheels in 15", everyone is all about big 20"-22" -_- I rather keep more tire then wheel.

There will be very little loss in accelerating and braking by going with a 17". The shorter tire wall will help with cornering. The tires will probably have a larger footprint that will help with traction. Tire size is 255/60.

Where are you looking? There are a **** load of 15" wheels out there that fit Explorers & Mountaineers.
