- '03 Ford Explorer Limited
The name is Matt. I've been on the forum before. Own a 97 Eddie Bauer and am now the proud owner of a '03 Limited. I was introduced to the death click wit my '97, and have yet to have any issues with my '03 besides some fouled out plugs that have been replaced.
Few things that are gonna be happening with the truck are:
2 8" Sundown Audio SA8s are being installed Saturday in a custom built box to fit behind the third row seat. Those will be powered by an Audioque AQ-1200D. Headunit has already been replaced with a Pioneer Premier DEHP-410UB. Will be running 0awg American Bass wiring and then will probably be doing the big three upgrade also.
The angled piece is not clear. Done like this to show the internals.
Sunday I'm planning to attempt to paint my headlight housings black. First time I will have attempted this. Was going to color match my previous cars headlights, but never got to it. Once the headlights are done I will be purchasing the black housing clear corners to match the headlights.
The drivers side tail light needs to be replaced due to a crack from the previous owner, so I will be purchasing a new one and then I will VHT the tails so they match the headlights.
Front windows will be tinted to match the rest of the glass.
Truck already has a billet grille, but the black paint on the top and bottom side of each of the stripes is starting to chip off so I'm thinking about blacking it out, and the I will purchase the lower billet grille and would like to also have the fog light billet grilles.
HIDs will be installed in the low beams and fog lights. Had HIDs in my previous car and I will never have another vehicle without them.
These are just a few things that I want to get done. There are a few other things that will get done too, but that requires some saving up.
