Whats up, Im Craig, 22, Tucson AZ
Used this page a lot when looking for parts and advice so I wanted to contribute to help the next guy out!
2002 Explorer Sport 4wd with every option except leather and sunroof.
Keeping the truck simple for now since its my daily d! :aerostar:
Got it in 2012 after I sold my bagged and shaved mini truck (pictures upon request lol)
Bought from an older lady who babied it and got all service done at the dealer ship. I dont have any pictures of it with all the stuff she added, but it was a ugly duckling. Car bra, Window visor, dash mat, steering wheel cover, seat covers, 2 pairs of floor mats, and this brush guard! :D

Needless to say this bad boy was covered. I immediately cleaned it up and got rid of all the stuff and here it sits at 75k on day 1.

It stayed like this for quite a while because after owning the mini truck i was tired of working on my car every day.

The last picture i have of it dead stock is with my explorer family lol
My brothers white 2001 sport lowered 2/3 on 22s with pretty much everything done to it visually.
My sisters 2005 explorer with featherfilled trim, painted to look like a eddie bauer edition. (not shown in this picture)
And mine in the middle. :)
My parents almost got a 2014 explorer which would have really completed the picture, but they waited for a 2015 mdx. :(

I kept it stock for at least 2 years (new record!) but then it came time for tires. I went with cooper discover at3 in 265/75/R16. A lot of tire to fit but no rubbing!
I also plasti-dipped my trim at this time and got tint (stock rear 3, 35% side, 15% windshield)

After about a year of it looking like this (really busy with school and work so I didnt have much time or money) I decided to go for a lift. I went with a ebay torsion key and add-a-leaf setup. I also bought superlift shocks for the front (not so cool) and monroe load bearing coilover shocks for the rear (cool)
Also threw in some billet and an assortment of hid/led lighting
and voila, here she is

So yeah thats my story. Haha
I'm hoping soon to get a new daily driver and really tear this thing up.
Plans:
-New slotted drilled rotors and pads (sitting in my office)
-Pro comp 152 black, 15x10
-General Grabbers, 35x12.5
-Vegas dezert fab front long travel kit ($$$)
-custom rear trailing arms with coilovers (no more leafs!)
-and last but not least, i present the motor Im going to put in it....;) take a guess. (p.s. yes thats the explorer ratchet strapped to the engine hoist, long story)

Anyways I do have a few questions about small repairs and replacements. If anybody could guide me to where i can ask about some small interior pieces for my truck I would appreciate it! Thanks for looking and stay tuned!
