- 2002 Explorer Limited 2WD
Howdy all!!!! :wavey:
Just found this forum a few days ago and decided to join up. I'm on forums for everything under the sun and never thought to get on one for my Explorer, till now.
After getting married and having a child the wife and I needed something bigger than our Toyota Tercel so we bought our first Explorer (1995 EB) and fell in love with it. After it gave up the ghost (trans went out with 150k) we knew we wanted another one.
I now have a 2002 Explorer Limited 2WD that the wife and I bought new in '02. It has been a great truck and we are VERY well pleased with it's performace. It's currently got about 133K on the clock. We did just get hit with some expensive repairs, had to fix a leaking vaccum and have the injectors cleaned ($500) then a week later had to have the rearend replaced and rear brakes replaced ($2500). But I'm not going to complain...........it's still been a great vehicle. We've keept it meticulously maintained, because we knew we'd have it for a LONG time!!
Haven't modified it any........it's been the family/wife's ride, but maybe it's time??
Anyway.........glad to be here!!
