Well I'm planning on exhaust as my next mod....but don't really understand how everything goes in place...
I'm probably going with the Flowmaster 40 or Super 40 series....and having my local shop do the pipes....
well what I dont understand is the dual in/single out...center/offset....etc...
Can someone explain how it all goes together, and what I will need...and maybe the different options I have?...

thanks...and also I tried to search but couldn't find anything specific....(dont wanna mess up and order wrong part)

When they talk about mufflers they have to describe how the exhaust system enters the muffler and then leaves the muffler. Dual in and single out means that you have dual exhaust coming in and being collected in the muffler. The single out means that there is only one pipe leaving the muffler and heading to the back of you X. When they talk about offset the intake or exhaust "port", using the term loosly, is either on the right or the left side of the muffler. I have a 99 with the 5.0 and it is a dual in center out, I have no idea what the 4.0 and 4.0SOHC people have for an exhaust.
