Hey everyone. Guess I oughta post in here just to say hey. My old Buick's tranny has gone out, and after hearing about a almost $2,000 re-build, I said no thank you, so now I drive my dad's Explorer, and while I miss the Buick's cushy ride, I love the SOHC V-6s roar :D . I'm looking at a few other cars to replace the poor Buick, but from now on, it's Ford or nothing. No more GM...

Welcome to the FORD side!!!!!

where in austin are you from, i'm originally from the cedar park/ leander area.... now im in SC working for the Navy .

I'm living in the Arboretum area right now. It's a nice area. Lots of Camaros and Mustangs, and very few rice-burners.

Glad you moved to an X.

Welcome to the site and hope to see you stick with the X longer than the Buick. Of course, tranny issues will be something to get use to.;)

Heh, I know. Can't get away from tranny problems in domestics  I don't mind if the X blows a tranny. Sure i'll be angry, but the entire package is still a good vehicle. GM just can't build a good package. They can build a great engine (Camaro Z28/SS LS1), but have a really lame interior, or have a great interior, in search of a better engine (Umm...i'll get back to you on that ;) ).
