Hello everyone. I found this great site while searching on Google, and found alot of good tips and stories here I thought this would be a great place to hang out. I own a '94 XLT, and am having some front end problems that I will research here. Me and the search button are becoming good friends.

WV 'jokes'

... I think my favorite so far isn't really a joke. I was in Washington, DC, and an older lady asked where I was from. I told her I was from WV, and she said,"Oh, I have friends in Roanoke"........

How 'bout them 'eers!!

Welcome from Martinsburg WV. Born down southern WV, Beckely. Family moved to Md suburbs near DC where I attended all schooling and moved back here 16 years ago.
How about those eers, The fans are about the craziest bunch I've ever been around. I bet over half don't even remember going to the Bowl games. Talk about tail gate parties.

Hey theres finally someone from my area, i'm just down the road in Nitro, glad to have ya. This site is amazing with all the info and the people on here. Of all the forums i'm a member of, this one is by far the most friendly and user friendly also.

LOL!!!!! Southwest VA isnt that much different!!! :D :D

I was in a walmart with a buddy of mine down in NC and i was going to buy a hunting license to do a weekend of bow hunting with him and the woman behind the counter said she couldn't find my number under VA and i said no i'm in WVA, she said VA, WV doesn't matter. And the sad part was she didn't know the difference.

Well in the WVU game a couple of weeks ago on ESPN some Aaron girl on the side line called it western VA and she never missed a beat. I couldn't believe it, do these people not go to school past the 5th grade?

You should see the folks at ESPN try to call a MAC game! They screw up names of cities, schools, rivalries...you name it. The worst part of it is...Kirk Herbstreet (ESPN analyst) is from Ohio, where half of the MAC schools are located (Ohio, Bowling Green, Toledo, Miami OH, Akron, Kent and up to last year, you guy's Marshal) It's a disgrace, you'd think these people could do some research before calling games. UM Hello!!!
