I just bought my first X last week. Its an '01 XLT 8.0 V8 2WD. I'm new to this whole mod thing as for the last 3 years I've been driving a car shaped like a jelly bean. I know I want a 3in body lift, and prob 33in tires, other than that I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Congrads on your 01 XLT.

I drive an 01 Sport 4x2 and it has dual chamber 2 flowmasters but I am going to do more mods to it.

Do you any pics of your new ride I would love to see some if you do.

since you have a v8 do a mac intake for $150 and dual 2 1/2" exhaust( to get it to roar) and maybe a performance chip

with a 3" body lift and 2" torsion twist and 2" shackles that lift will give you enough cleanace for 33's

but since u have a 2wd make a hot street truck !haha
