Hi, there are quite a few of us from the UK on here now!... hopefully we can all get together somewhen - should be quite a meet now :D

Cheers Fellas its nice to be made welcome, i could do with some advice on finding parts for the future just in case, i dont really want to pay Ford prices as with all makes you can get parts off the shelf at sometimes a fraction of the cost example ,brakes and srevice items do we need to import from across the pond? i still need a drivers handbook if you guys no where to look let me know please cheers for now Andy

Andy, I've got a drivers handbook for a '98 Ex that's surplus to requirements. It's a bit scruffy but none of the pages are torn or anything like that - it's just that it's lived in a glove box for a few years...
As for buying parts for your EX - ALWAYS ask on here first before buying from Ford! Most of us have found alternative sources for parts and accessories. Believe it or not it is often cheaper buy from American suppliers despite the transatlantic postage costs.
Anyway, welcome to the forum and good luck with your Explorer!

Simon H
