Hi all 
I have just registered with the site and would like to introduce myself. I have recently emigrated to Australia from Scotland (5 weeks ago) and had to purchase a new car ASAP, my wife and I eventually decided on the '02 Explorer Limited V8 as we both like 4X4's (had freelanders previously).
Driving in Scotland for 20 Years we had only ever driven manuals, so this was our very first ever automatic, and we love it. I had been frequenting the site regularly as a non-member so thought it was about time I registered and started to post. I hope I can get to know my Explorer a lot better via the help and info available through EF.com and be able to call on the 'experts' knowledge. I am a mechatronic engineer and have always maintained my previous vehicles myself (unless it really had to go to a garage/stealer (sorry, dealer)).
I will also be contributing to any threads I feel I can help or advise with. Anyway, enough about me and I look forward to meeting other members as I work through the forum. My first post (apart from this one) will be 'up' shortly as I am experiencing a 'shifter' problem already. Thanks from the 'newbie'
