Hi everyone. I just inherited a 2000 explorer and found a couple of issues. Unfortunatley I haven't got any owners manuals etc so am a little stumped.
First issue is a flashing amber light that only comes on after about 30 miles. It is in the bottom right hand side of the dash display and looks like a circle with a smaller circle and a small square inside. Also has a line through it. Does anyone know what this lamp is???
Second problem seems more serious. The auto trans is fine until warm but once warm there is a very noticeable clunk whenever I stop and it disengages.
Very grateful of any help you guys can offer. Other than those two problems it seems fine and is a great vehicle to drive. Mileage is around 115,000.
