Hi everyone! I joinde cause I have some questions about my ranger

I have one question

Will a 1997 Ford Explorer 4.0v6 4x4 Automatic Tranny fit my 1995 For Ranger 4x4 4.0v6

Tranny is bad in the ranger

The 97 is the 5R55E 5 speed automatic. It could work if you swap the valve body, wiring harness, and possibly some other stuff into a 4R55E. The bell housing, and starter are different.
