May I ask what's be best way to find if my "no dip stick" 2004 Explorer needs more oil and what's a better oil brand to use to bring it up to a good level. I'm thinking of replacing some of the old oil if it does not involve more than just draining or sucking some of the old oil out and pumping new fluid in. Someone in that forum should have an answer for you.

From the search I just did I see that people have mentioned no dipstick for the transmission, but no mention of no dipstick for the engine oil. I would like to learn the answer to this as well.
