I am just curious if people like the newer explorers or the older ones better. I personally like the older ones like 98-2001 (I think) style. I dont like the new ones that have 3 rows and are bigger. I love explorers but I wouldnt buy a new one just because they are bigger now. Wish they had the older style back.

I like mine. I just bought my 01 in January, so I am prejudice. The 95-01 look alike to me. It has a real rear axle and not the independent suspension all the way around like the 02+. The 91-94 were better off-road though.

I have a 91 too but trying to sell it and its back in Maine....I had good luck with that (Didnt drive it for that long) but when I did i had good luck....your 01 looks like my 99 the perfect style! :)

Heyyyy.Spoiledbrat7118.... My 2002 is just a purty as yours....

yes it is but its too big for me. i wish they would make my style still

I love my '04 Limited. It does feel a little big, but I don't mind it at all.

My partner has a '99 Sport (a little different), and I really don't like the way that one drives after I got my Limited.

The 3rd row is nice. I leave it folded down most of the time, and I have a cargo mat on there, but when I haul more people, it's great to have. I can fit 7 adults in there fairly comfortably (and I've done that a few times) or when I have 5 people on a long trip, one person jumps in the back and can strech out.

At first, I didn't like the looks of the new ones either, but now I love it!

Sooner or later you'll come over to the dark side. LoL

love the older , seems more solid than the newer!
