Newer Year Bumper on '96 Eddie??

my bumper has seen better days, the air valance has long been ripped off (thanks a lot, stupid ditch!!) so I took my fog lights out, and the chrome bumper itself is beat up pretty good.

Will a newer model year bumper fit my '96? I really like the round foglight option, I think it looks cooler. Anyone do this before?

i'm working on putting a 99+ bumper on my 95. still getting parts together. got a cover and the reinforcement, still looking for the fogs and getting the bumper painted. from what ive heard its just a bolt on once you get the parts. would be best go just get a complete bumper from a junk yard or something but i couldnt find any in my area

It will be a bolt on, but you may have to enlarge the mounting slots in your frame. I have heard that even if you slide the bumper all the way up it still has a decent gap between the header panel and bumper cover. Not a big issue though.
