95 eddy bauer
Hello everyone.

I hav been trying to diagnose my blower problem. The truck is a 1995 eddy bauer edition. It has th digital climate control. No matter what setting i put it on the motor does not blow. I took te connector off of the motor and tested it. from pin to pin ther is no reading. from red wire pin to ground i get 12v from the other wire to ground nothing. I dont have schematics for this truck but i would asume from pin to pin is power and ground and it should have 12v witht he switch int he interior on but it doesnt. This makes me think the problm lies somewhere before the motor itself. Can somone please tell me where to go and what to check next. I checked the 2 fuses one interior one under hood. number 2 interior and 3 under hood i believe and they were both good. In my manual i dont see anything that says blower rlay though? Shouldnt there be one and if so where is it? If i move the fan speed adj on the climate control i hear 3 clicks from top to bottom coming from somewhere behind the dash/glovebox area. Any help greatly appreciated! thanks

I don't have your year of Explorer.

That being said.......you can test your blower......just remove it from the engine compartment and hot wire it with a 12v battery. The ground is usually through the body of the unit. BTW, I said remove it because, I don't want additional problems IF you fry the control module.

At that point.......either it works or it doesn't.

If it does.......reinstall and work your way back towards the switch.

If it doesn't........get a new one.

Aloha, Mark

PS......that's how I did it, with my Chevy Monte Carlo and Toyota Celica.
