Thanks for the help with the brake switch that got my brake lights back on, but now I have another problem, no cruise control. What do I need to do to get it back working. Thanks for you help

I missed the first half of the problem, but was the cruise working before you replaced the switch? If not, I wonder if the bad switch possibly shorted the fuse for the cruise?

Sorry I can't be more definitive... Not too sure. I would think the fuse would be the place to start, though.

Sorry I didn't provide more detail. Yeah, the cruise was working fine before I replace the brake switch. Any ideas, and if it is the problem you are talking about how do I fix it. Thanks in advance for helping

my freind had a similar problem in his 99 accord, is what happened he didnt tighten the switch down good enough (i think) so the computer thought the brakes were being applied(tail lights wouldnt light up) so the instant he set the cruise contraol it would turn off. go bakc and make sure everything is tightend down and algined corectly
