Hi guys.
My crusise control does not work. I checked the fuse, it is good. I have a horn and 'No' air bag light, so I'm hoping the clock spring is still good. I am going to look at it in the morning, if you guys could tell what to look for or what to check.
Thanks,
Brian

Also, is there a "click" when you push your buttons? As they age, they tighten up and eventually render themselves inoperable as the buttons underneath seize.

Hey Joe, good point. This van's been sitting for 4 years. I don't feel a click but I'm going to keep working it. Thanks.

The click is not it. I am going to dig deeper like Brooklyn Bay suggested.

My 92 started off like that then everything went horn, cruise and then the air bag light stated going off, it was the clockspring.

Thanks for the reply Tuckman. Now the turn signals and 4 ways are out. I will check the fuses in the morning, but the book lists several things on the same circuit including the gear shift holder. Right now I can still shift the tranny. I wonder if anyone here knows if the clock spring also runs the turn signals and 4 way flashers throught it?
Thanks,
Brian

Clock Spring??

I still have no flashers or turn signal lights. Still have no cruse control. But I do have a horn and 'No' air bag light. Does the clock spring run the turn signals and 4 ways through it? Also my 94 had a bad clock spring but I never changed it. Seriously, how hard is it to change the clock spring?

Holy Cow Brooklyn! Looks like the clock spring is unrelated to the signals and 4 ways. You wouldn't have a sylibis for that drawing would you? Thanks.

I wanted to post the text for the diagram, but I had a hard time trying to piece it together into the new diagram. I had to piece 3 parts of the above diagram together in MS paint to make the above diagram.

Signals lights are working, my mistake!

Thank you for ALL of your hard work here Brooklyn.
I found my signal light problem today. It seems I disconnected the plug to the flasher so that I could try to change the light bulb up under the dash. I can't get the bulb out but I replugged in the flashers and voila. I will work on the cruise control tomorrow.
