Plan to swap out the TPS since a under $20 part. also been shopping for the correct 3-4 shift and TCC solenoids. Some on eBay list A4LD kits with both solenoids but for only up to 1994 Aerostar. Is the 95 A4LD different?
The transmission is the same, ford never planned to make the aerostar after 94.

Ok, got back to the A-Star. Have not installed any new parts as yet. Re-checked for any codes. Ran KOEO and KOER tests. Both resulted in "111" (good). Took it on a short interstate spin. Low and behold it shifted into overdrive and ran that way for about a minute. Then it started shifting back and forth from 3rd to OD, then back to 3rd. I slowed down to 60 mph and shifted into 3rd and drove the rest of the way. Is this a solenoid symptom?

Thanks, I'll just drive in 3rd. Once the A-Star dies I'll drive my pickup full time..
