'97 Mountaineer - No dash lights, chime or taillights, but dome light, headlights, and brake lights and turn signals work.
Ideas?

Thank you. The several threads I saw didn't have a solution. I was first thinking a fuse before I found out the taillights are out as well as the dash lights and chime. I picked up a headlight switch at the salvage yard this morning. I think my son is getting frustrated that I haven't taken care of this, but it would really help if the Mountaineer was here in the daylight, but he keeps coming home in the dark.
 






Problem solved. Headlight switch was bad. I may never stand up straight again thanks to whoever decided to attach the hood release the way they did. Why do the screws have to also go through the plastic cover? You need 3 hands and 2 of them need to be very tiny with long fingers.
